Huddersfield Open Studio Trail 2007 creates the opportunity for everyone to experience the wealth of artistic talent in and around Huddersfield. Tickets are not required and the public can go to any venue over the weekendfor free.
101 artists welcome you into their studios to view paintings, sculptures, textiles and jewellery in the relaxed and informal atmosphere of their workplace. Chat with the artists, Learn about their ideas, inspiration and processes and perhaps buy or commission a unique creation.
A free trail brochure is available which includes information on each venue and all artists. It can be collected from any of the participating venues or by emailingcarmen@cida.org and one will be sent to you.

Some artists will have pieces available for sale, payment by cash or cheque will be preferred by most as they do not have the facilities to accept credit cards.
BUS TIMESUse the shuttle bus service to enjoy the entire trail and embrace the artistic diversity and vibrancy of Huddersfield. The shuttle bus service is free to all who wish to experience the trail. Bus times are approximate. It is possible to walk between venues or you could always use public transport, ask the artist at the venue or the bus driver Check with each venue for their opening times or ring first to avoid disappointment.
